Shasta/Trinity Divide (The Eddy's)
The Eddy's are a small mountain range located directly west of Mt. Shasta City, in the Shasta/Trinity National Forest south on Gazelle/Callahan Road, and north of Castle Crags. The highest point in the mountain range is Mt. Eddy at an elevation of 9,025 feet. Mt. Eddy offers an excellent panoramic view of all the surrounding mountains, including Mt. Shasta, Black Butte, the Trinity Alps, Mt. Lassen, nearby Castle Crags, and more. The PCT travels the entire 13½ miles of this mountain range.
